I'm almost like the retailers - Christmas comes way too early with me, too.
I know it's early, but I'm leaving today in the afternoon and I don't know when I'll be back online, so...

I'm not gonna say C новым годом! quite yet, because I think I'll be back before New Year and "Russian Christmas".
I'm going to Prague today at 2 with my brother, then from there we'll take a bus to Strakonice, our Czech hometown. From there, the guys from Prague will pick us up on Saturday morning and we'll go to Livigno in the Italian Alps. We'll stay there a week. They're forecasting sun for the entire week, which is great. I'm looking forward to it, but also nervous. I hope it will be a good trip. We should be back to Czech on the 23rd. I don't know how long we're going to stay in the CZ, probably until New Year's Eve or so. I plan to go skating as much as possible during the holidays, the rink should be open for public.
It's good that I'm going away for a while, I really need to take a vacation from school and all the crap. I'm skipping a week of school. What makes me a little sad is the fact that I'll miss the Grand Prix Final, but I probably wouldn't have a chance to watch it, anyway, so it's not that bad. Besides, we should have a satellite TV in our apartment in Italy, so maybe - if they have the right channels there - I might catch at least the bits the Italian TV is going to show. Anyway, I keep my fingers and toes crossed for Mr Weir. The short program is tomorrow evening, isn't it?
When I come back... I'll hopefully have nice pictures and fic to post. :) Well, I actually have fic to post even now, but it's not quite ready yet, so... it will have to wait, I guess.

PS: I'm not sending out Christmas cards this year. It's not because I don't care. I like hand-made ones and I didn't have any time to make them, so I gave up on cards entirely. I hope nobody is offended. ;)
