First of all:
Happy Birthday, Dru!
I was going to make that cliché joke about a quarter-century, but I'll refrain, because I'm nice like that and because we all have our issues with growing up and growing old, don't we.
I hope you had a lovely day and that the Indian Summer has reached London as well, because an extra bit of sunshine isn't a bad birthday gift. Hope you have many friends around to make you smile. Hope you go out and have tons of fun tonight. ♥ :-* MTR.

Indian Summer has come for a visit. I walked around wearing shorts and flip-flops and took a nap in the afternoon sun shining onto my bed through the window. It was delightful.
I contemplated whether to go to Dresden and finally buy that perfume I want (I didn't tell you that I went shopping with my mom and her colleague/friend yesterday). I decided not to, because I wanted to sleep in a little. If I went to Dresden, I'd want to go in the morning, so I could get the shopping done and then go to the rink to skate at noon. I postponed both the shopping and the skating to Monday - though a part of me is not sure if skating is a good idea. What if I sprained my ankle or something? How would I go to Estonia on Tuesday, then?
I went rollerblading in the evening. There was a second of omg where's my toepick, where's my edge?! when I stood up. Rollerblades seem so clumsy in comparison to ice skates, I miss the precision of the blade. It was fun, though. I tried doing the one-footed slaloms on wheels and - surprisingly - they're easier than on the ice. But part of it might be because whereas the ice is perfectly flat and even, on the road you sometimes go slightly downhill without even noticing, so it gives you speed.
I got mad in the afternoon when I found an important letter I sent to school last week back in my mailbox - they returned it, and it said that it was refused. Wtf? I went to re-send it and it turned out that it was slightly heavier than a regular letter and that it needed more stamps than I had put on. Though I don't see why the idiots at my school refused to take it, they could have paid the 40 cents. :/
I hate how school stuff seems to be knocking on my door. I received an e-mail from Prof. Favrot about an initial meeting of all the EMIM (European Master of International Management) students on October 4th. Soon I'll have to choose electives, start filling out papers for my semester in Russia... I don't think I'm ready for that. :(
I really should to go to bed early earlier than 2am tonight. I need to get some sleep. I don't think I'll get much of it next week, so I better sleep in advance. ;)
