Saying goodbye is the hardest part.

I realized today that I'm actually almost glad that I had to study for my exams in the past few days, because it meant that I didn't have to participate in the packing/moving madness. Last night and today was enough packing. I got into a yelling match with my mom and brother - it started because I dared to switch on the computer and watch a Johnny Weir video instead of packing and wasted about 20 minutes on the internet. But it was just a short one and the rest of the day was quite calm.

We - the IB students - had a little barbecue/party today to honor the end of our studies here in Dresden. It took place at Ksenia's, she and her husband have a wonderful apartment with a garden and it was so pleasant to sit outside in the shade!
I just got home a while ago and even though I didn't really feel close to anyone of them except for Sarah, I think I'm going to miss them - leaving makes me nostalgic.

By the way, on my way to the train station I saw a girl wearing sunglasses that looked pretty much like this. I even turned after her when she passed me, but I don't even remember what the girl looked like, I was too mesmerized by the sunglasses, lol. (They were a little different, the holes on the sides were smaller.)

Oh and - I found out that I own a CD with the Macarena and the Lambada on it! It's not the original versions, just some copies/remixes, but still...
Macarena
Have fun!
