I'm going to start this post off like a normal person with questions and such, but it will progressively go downhill because I just saw a picture on tumblr of zayn with his hand in liam's pocket and I had to put my head down and take a nap to deal with all the feelings I had about it

At work, Skype has replaced my landline. In addition to a skype ID, I have a phone number assigned to my account so I can call any phone, not just another Skype computer user. This costs my company a little money, but not nearly as much as a regular phone line and we don't have to mess with the campus phone service dept, which sucks.

I have a webcam attached to my computer, but I have only used the video feature in skype a few times -- I prefer to do just audio. I have a headset with a microphone and I wear it most of the time because the phone rings in the headset -- though I could set it to ring through the speakers.

I also listen to music a lot at work through that headset so when the phone rings I have to scramble to get to the browser and pause Pandora before answering the skype call, or the caller will hear the music, too.

Also, you know how sometimes when you are on the phone with someone long-winded (like my mother) and you decide to keep working while talking? That is fine as long as you don't do something like update a program that then asks you to restart your computer. Bye mom! I did that twice before it sunk in that my phone *WAS* my computer, so I probably shouldn't turn it off during a conversation.

And though I can't bond with you over a 1D obsession, I totally understand the feelings. Around the time of the Js' weddings I just had to try to put them out of my mind because I couldn't get over the dual blows to their big, gay love. I think it was the closest to depressed that I've ever got.
