come seeking healing and forgiveness
so i'm feeling incredibly good right now. today was a very productive day...this whole weekend has actually been fantastic. friday night was a pj party of sorts in 308 brady, we watched "who shot liberty valance" and "cruel intentions" with some bursts of counterstrike. the boys thought "cruel intentions" was too creepy, but it's a very 'in your face' kind of movie, and i like it...it puts things on the line. after leaving brady, madison and i returned to my vacant dorm room to have a very quality sleepover with lots of good conversation and cosmo reading. unfortunately, magoo could not attend this event, or else it would have been even better. saturday the whole crew was reunited for brunch and a 2.5 hour bus ride to vermont (norwich university) to watch our sac hawks hockey team get slaughtered 8-1 by the 5th best team in the country. it was still a fun day and definitely worth the bus ride. once back on campus, i made the mistake of not going to cabaret, which i will definitely be going to next year because everyone who went said it was a great time. dancing, food, live music, and great friends...i can't believe i passed it up. instead, i went to M and watched "wedding crashers" with some very cool kids, so it was a very fun evening...but next year i'm hitting up cabaret. ended up back in my dorm room at 12:30am, which is wayyyy too early for me on a saturday, but i decided to make the most of it and go to bed...so i did. brunched this morning and then spent the entire day doing homework...i read 2 chapters of psych, finished all my spanish homework, and did the humanitites reading too. plus, i did my laundry and showered, and my room is clean too. i'm en fuego tonight!
mass was great, i really enjoyed the gospel/homily. and of course, the music...i love the songs we do for choir. to sum up, i'm going to reprint (with permission) a prayer i learned today from my good friend kristen "kc magoo" mcgoey.
