Thanks beb♥ and yes you can totally change the background color to whatever you want. It's really simple actually... just find this:

background-color: #edc213;

which is literally at the very top of the CSS code and you can change it to whatever you want :]

To add a header-image just find this in the CSS code:

.headerimage {
/* for formatting header image */
width: XXX;
height: XXX;
background-image:url(XXX);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
background-color: XXX;
}

and add the width, height, and URL of your image. If you want the header-image to be the same width of the layout, make sure the width of your image 690px!
