Today
Rachel learned something new today. She's successfully learned to take something out of her mouth with her tongue and scrape it onto her upper lip. She had a lot of fun doing this until she realized it was just easier to spit it out. She amused herself by putting Kix in her mouth and spitting it out over and over again. I was cracking up. It snowed horizontally today. The wind was blowing and the snow just kept coming. One side of all the trees is covered with snow. It's pretty cool looking and looked like the flying windows screensaver from inside the house. The few times I had to go out into it were not pleasant though. I froze my ass off this morning when I went out to blanket the horses so they wouldn't freeze and I also filled rabbit water. Well we had turned off the hose to keep it from freezing again (because when it did freeze the horses didn't have water for almost 24 hours. AHH!) so I had to dip water out of the stock tank to fill them. The water still had huge chunks of ice floating in it from when I broke it at an inch think yesterday. Brrr is all I can say. Anyway, I stood on my feet all day and baked millions of cookies mostly for our neighbors. Yeah. That was my wonderful day.
