I am headed to meet momma and Matt in Shelby for lunch this afternoon. It's a beautiful sunny day (great for driving around with the top down) so I'm really looking forward to it!! :)
It's been a good weekend so far! It feels like a 3 day weekend because tomorrow I have a workshop so I have a sub covering my class!! :) AND I don't have to be to the workshop until 8:30!! Which means I can sleep in a little bit!! :) and then Tuesday I'm taking half a day to go to another workshop in the afternoon and Friday is a 1:00 dismissal!! :) Wow, it looks as if it's going to be a great week at school! Yep, I'm excited.
So I was thinking last night about the possibility of changing jobs. I think I may look into becoming a school librarian or something. Sit around all day reading books to kids...sounds like the perfect job to me. AND the average salary for a librarian is like $46,000. That is INSANE!! I'm thinking that would be perfect. Sit around, read books, deal with kids only 1 hr and then send them back from whence they came and get paid close to TWICE what I am now...hmm...hard decision! :) Then again, last week I wanted to own my own daycare and the week before that I wanted to be a zookeeper and before that an author and before that I wanted to own my own bookstore. Yeah, 22 is WAY too young to decide what you want to do for the REST of your life. I'm just not sure I can handle teaching for another 30something years....
