This is in no particular order.
- I quit Papa John's after what...2-3 weeks? The GM couldn't remember my name, I did everyone else's job, I was transferred from one store to another and then finally, to another, some underaged smoker idiot felt the need to harrass me, I wasn't given the job that I was promised, I never made contact with the district supervisor after multiple attempts.
- Will lives here half of the week - Thursday night through Monday morning. He works on the weekends and all is well. :-)
- I played Bingo at a real bingo hall for the first time three weeks ago. It was a blast and I won twice - 1st time, $25. 2nd, $50. My favorite dabber was the watermelon one that is supposed to be some sort of red but it's not. It's watermelon. It was a long drive (though we found closer bingo halls, my loyalty lies with the one that is far away) and they have awesome cheap food and nice ladies and a crapload of games and 3 $250 jackpots. Hello, run-on sentences. Mom and Kim didn't win at all.
- I played Bingo at a real bingo hall for the second time two weeks ago. It was a blast and I won twice - 1st time, $12.50, 2nd, $25. My favorite dabber was the blue one that is supposed to be some sort of royal blue but it's not. It's neon blue, almost teal. We had more good cheap food. It was my celebration night because it was my last Saturday off for awhile. I got a job the night before with Victoria's Secret for the season. Mom and Kim didn't win at all. I was very absentminded at the times that I won...the first time I didn't realize it until about 3 balls later, which is why I only got $12.50. I won the second time immediately after the first one. Unfortunately, I was 2 balls late on that one again too (wtf was wrong with me) and I only got half of the pot.
- I had two interviews with the two applications I put in - Disney Store and Victoria's Secret. Both were group interviews. With the Disney Store, I walked in with the babies to let them spend their birthday money, filled out an application, gave it to the manager. She arranged an interview for two days later. I went to the interview with some very unprofessional people (all except the one guy were dressed in jeans and flip flops while I had on dress pants and a nice shirt). It took about an hour, she asked us stupid questions, explained the job (which included terrible hours and minimum wage pay), and then said she'd call or mail you something within in a few days to let you know if you got the job or not. I got a call 3 hours after I left the interview and she offered me the job. I had to turn it down because I would get a maximum of 8-10 hours a week at $6.15/hr. And the shirt was was stupid. Victoria's Secret was a stupid group interview also. I showed up in khakis and a nice shirt, one other girl showed up in a black suit, and the others were slutty with ugly shirts and heels. Needless to say, I was offered the job as well as the girl with the black suit. The girl with the black suit had stupid answers but she didn't look like a ho. It took awhile for them to get back to me, but I took the job because I would get higher pay ($6.50. Not that much higher but better than min. wage) and 15-20 hours a week, if not more.
- My record still stands. Every job I've interviewed for I was offered.
- I'm having surgery again. I'm not sure when, especially since things over there are screwed up. The scheduling bitch told us today that she doesn't have the card that Dr. Clark is supposed to fill out and give to her. Therefore, she has no record of me having surgery last year and nothing saying I'm supposed to be having another one. Unfortunately, Dr. Clark had his own surgery and won't be back to work until Wednesday. But Mom was so livid that she scheduled an appointment for us to go in. The soonest they had was Monday at 10:30. We may not need to go, but we'll see. I can't wait for it...I'm going to feel so much better.
- I went to the allergist (again). They tested me and it was the most painful thing in the world. 40 or so individual stabs into my forearms. I was positive for a few things, but I don't exhibit any typical allergy symptoms. He wants me to go back and retest for what came up negative which I'm trying to get out of because it's a waste of time. I don't have allergies, they don't bother me (the few that did come up - weeds, cats, molds) and it's not causing my polyps. It was so painful...the first 3 or 4 it were shocking and I just yelped "OW" but after that I couldn't handle it and broke down, sobbing with each one. This guy wants me to come back? Hahahahahahahaha. Ha.
- Kim and Ryan have decided to move on base (they live in St. Augustine now). The first offer they had on their house fell through because the guy who made the offer got one of those "You're pre-approved for a mortgage!" things in the mail and used that to try and get a mortgage. He was denied. The second offer seems to be holding up and they'll move in right after the first of December. I'm happy because they'll be so close and when I'm gone, the kids will have Kim if they need someone after school and such.
- I'm officially going to Flagler. I'm just waiting on my registration papers. They have all of my financial aid things (what a pain, especially with our circumstances) and my deposit. Not sure how it's all going to work when my parents leave and such, but we'll see. There's time.
I got home from work half an hour ago. I was going to finish this when I got home...but it's too late.
