Gradually but surely, the leaves have changed colour. Having lived in Singapore all my life, there had been no such thing as four seasons in my life. This is the very first time in my life that I would be able to experience the change from summer to autumn to winter. When I first came to Copenhagen, it was still summer. The leaves were still green and the temperature was extremely nice. The sky was a pretty blue and the sun was shining bright and strong every single day. The days were long and it was still bright even up till 8pm at night. However, without my notice, summer had flown past me and autumn had settled itself into my life. The leaves gradually changed colours to red, yellow, etc. The temperature also got colder every single day and I could no longer wear my skirt and short-sleeves shirts. The pretty blue sky had long since been covered with gloomy grey clouds and the sun is rarely to be seen. The days have gradually grown shorter and it gets darker around 5pm or 6pm now. I could see the landscape around me changing, slowly but surely.
As I was walking across the track in school to the bus-stop, I could see the difference in the landscape compared to the time when I first started school. At that moment, I felt really glad that I have a chance to see the change in the seasons. I feel that I have just seen a magical scene that only nature could create. Even though the day was cloudy and gloomy, as I felt the wind blowing on my face, it gave me a new insight to life and I felt really refreshed. Nature is really amazing. I really want to capture every single moment I spend here, remember every single sight I saw, remember every single thing I heard and remember every little feelings I had. Life in a foreign country may be strange and weird, but it really allows one to see just how big the world is and gives one an experience that one would never ever forget in a lifetime. :)
