Maybe it's faux pas to admit? But I re-read this sometimes and get a bit choked up myself, so this reaction pleases me. ♥

It reminds me of the episode of Futurama with Fry's dog. *sobbing*

Awww. I hadn't seen that, but if I remember correctly, in Japan, at some railway station or something, there's a statue of a real life dog that for the rest of his life kept waiting at the said station for his owner, who had died. So heartbreaking.

Though I have to say, I wasn't intentionally comparing Eames to a dog when I wrote this, heh. ;)
