Time for another Brilliant Idea (tm).
International exhibition matches between American Baseball and English Cricket.
The Americans and the Brits would create a national team composed of their respective sports athletes (America = all baseball players, England = all cricket players). Each team would have 1-3 months to learn the other sport's rules, strategies, and general playing fundamentals.
Then, the American baseball team would head to England to play 2-3 games of cricket against the Brits (there is more than one way to play cricket, correct?). Afterwards, the Brits would come to the U.S. to play 2-3 games of baseball against the Yanks (taking into account NL and AL rules for pitchers and the designated hitter).
Americans, in general, have no clue what goes on during a cricket match. Brits (and Europeans in general) don't seem too terribly concerned with baseball. This could be an interesting - and mediagenic opportunity to bridge the two sports for fans.
