Whee, I got more nominations! To whoever is responsible: thank you! *hug*
The nominations are for the Sunnydale Memorial Fanficition Award and the nominated stories are (surprisingly) Bitter and I SpyI am supposed to pick up buttons from the website, but I've forgotten how you implement buttons. I mean, I download the pic, then I host it somewhere

Well, that's exciting! Congratulations!

I usually host artwork that I'm going to use here in my LJ scrapbook, which nowadays has a handy little "up-arrow page" icon that will give you the source code you need to paste specific art into your post.

If the post is already made, and you want to edit it to add the button, select "edit", then make sure you are on the HTML version - not "visual edit" - and paste the source code for your artwork where you want it.

If you want to make a new post, you can select "add to post" from the scrapbook image, but I'm too much of a control freak and have never tried it.

Hmm, okay, I managed to post the pic - but how do I add the URL of the Sunnydale awards website to the pic?
*sigh* I used to know html, but I am totally out of practice...

To link to another page, the HTML tag is "a href=". There is a space between the "a" and the "h", but otherwise there should be no spaces:

< a href="website address here" >image or text here< /a >

Voilà!
