Brilliant speech indeed. Can't believe our little cousins across the way are so ahead of us in this.

Hope our pollies see the bloody light soon.

Yeah, quite amazing. Our Bundestag debates are a lot less funny - and less to the point. They just discussed the women quota, i.e. a law proposed by the opposition to force the big German companies to increase the number of women on their board to 30% - in the end all the MPs voted along their party line, i.e. there will be no such law.

I love antipodean politicians. They tend to be very blunt, straight-talking types. This guy wins at everything.

It watched it several times, just for the fun of it. Loved the big gay rainbow. :D
It seems everybody was quite surprised that the speech made such an impression.
