Hee.
I bought a pair of pointy ears for Tina. She just bounced into the living room, still in her nightie, but wearing her pointy ears. :-)

It's possible my thyroid meds are kicking in already. Because yesterday I spent 5 hours going through our removal boxes in the cellar, chucking things out, packing stuff for the church's thrift store. When we moved into this appartment last year in May, we just dumped a lot of boxes in the cellar. Mostly books, but a few kitchen items got lost in the chaos too. Well, some of these items were re-discovered, along with other lost treasures. :-)
I don't feel like continuing today, though, because I have a dust allergy, and now my nose is running and itching like mad, and my eyes feel sore. Even so, I made a lot of progress. Now I have to smuggle a whole load of crap into the trash. (Germans get extremely cranky if one family hogs the limited trash can space. Alternately, Stefan could drive the trash to the dump site, but it costs money. Yup, that's Germany for you....).

What else is new? Well, I'm working on the next chapter of Broken English. Was dissatisfied with it, but finally discovered what was wrong with it. Am fixing it asap.

The Harry Potter night was a great success. My friend and I ended up on the shortlist of a costume competition, but because we had to use public transport to get home we couldn't stay until the final vote. Oh well. We had a great evening, and looked very witchy. :-)

Oh, and Tina made second place in the primary reel competition in Holland. The family ended up with a few more medals, but those weren't quite as noteworthy. *is proud*
