Drive-by RL update

Good Stuff:

Tina's first day at her new school started out well. She is in the same class with one of her best firends and her class teacher seems nice. We've also seen her subject teachers. Her maths teacher and her biology teacher seemed very capable. The others seemed okay.

Viktoria's first day in third grade went okay too. She put her name on the waiting list for the computer "AG" (a voluntary class of one hour per week).

We went to see an open air production of Rigoletto last night, that was performed in a beautiful little arena in the middle of our oldest city square, surrounded by the brightly lit old cathedral and other beautiful historical buildings. It was chilly, but no rain, and a full moon that hung in the sky like a silver coin. Tonight it's drizzling outside, so we were very lucky with the weather.

Friend L. fixed my old laptop computer, and rewired our stereo speakers. He's such a useful commodity! Home improvements and repairs cheer me up endlessly! He also gave me nice vouchers for my birthday. Yay!

Had a small sushi tonight.

Got all the schoolbooks, folders, pencils etc, now, for less money than I'd feared. Phew.

Bad Stuff:

The washing machine seems to be beyond repair (I think I mentioned that hubby managed to fix the dishwasher). It doesn't spin anymore, so the washing is soaking wet when it comes out.

Work sucked. Because I sucked. My brain just wasn't on the job. I was embarrassingly slow. I hate Exxel. I love my job. I hate that I'm not good at it.

Hubby ate all my chocolate.

I haven't written in two days. Too much on my plate.

BUT

My children have been really sweet this past week. I'm the luckiest mum ever.
