I finally bought a bottle of Fiji Artesian Water yesterday.
I always tut-tutted at the price and thought it totally ridiculous. And to fly water halfway around the world. Outrageous.
At the same time I was curious whenever I heard about its supposed qualities. Surely water can't really be that different from... water?
But it is. It is smooth, it glides down your throat. I almost gasped, then sat down to fully enjoy it. Like I would with a delicate drink. It is delicious.
Still ridiculous though. I won't repeat it anytime soon, I don't think.
Edited to add:
"53 percent of Fiji islanders do not have access to drinking water."
