I have planted a whole lot of pretty nonsense in the past 30 days. I thought I'd start a little journal for myself to record it. It will give me something to do while I wait for seeds to emerge.
So far:
Seed Mixes:
Botanical Interests:
- Real Shady Mix
- Terrific Trailers
- Bring Home the Butterflies
- Perennial Bloom
- Wheat and Oat Grass
A word about Botanical Interests: These have to be the best thing that ever happened to seed packets. They come in huge packets---at least 3 times the size of the normal variety---and you get a LOT of seeds. The mixes are wonderful, the inside of the packet is printed wall to wall with information, and even the illustrations on the front are really pretty. That is what first attracted me to them, actually. The big packets tend to be expensive---some over 5.00---but they are well worth it. You get a lot of seed for your buck. I buy these things like my life depends on it.
Veggies:
Swiss Chard: Bright Lights
Coriander
Kale
