I was pretty underwhelmed by the dresses this year.
Also, one small addition to my 2011 Movie List:
12. Hamlet (2000) I watched the modern-day version with Ethan Hawke to remind myself of the plot/characters because my youngest daughter auditioned for the role of Ophelia in her 6th grade Shakespeare play and got it! She's somewhat shy but she wanted the part, researched it and practiced down in the basement for hours. Dozens of girls went for this part and I didn't think she had much of a chance but she surprised me and think she surprised herself. Ha! I'm such a proud mama. Now she has 3 months of practice for the play they will put on in May. It's pretty serious business with gorgeous costumes and set design. I'm fretting already!
