The snow is so high it covers the mailboxes. When you come to a stop sign, you have to pull forward and peer around the corner, because the snow is piled so high you can't see if a car is coming. If you remember, we've been getting snow since
early October.
Furcicles! I saw these snow-covered icicles out my window, when I woke up this morning.
Snow makes me feel doomed. I'm ready for it to shove off. I was pissed at the groundhog yesterday.
I've been filling in for a woman at the school from India, whose brother was shot it the face. OMG. Anyway she's flown back to India to be with her family and so I spend the morning in the special education preschool and the afternoon supervising the students in the lunchroom. I'm not suited to either place. Preschool aged children are so needy and germy. Every child has boogers. :( The lunchroom is just gross. Friday they served chili. :(
My oldest daughter won second place in the 6th grade science fair, so she's moving on to the district level science fair tomorrow and has to take the bus. I'm fretting. Of course, more snow is forecasted for tomorrow. Her project is on finger-prints and the actual "science" is pretty questionable, but I guess it's good enough for Utah judges! Hehe...
I totally blame the writers strike, but I've started watching Gossip Girl. Not bad. Of course, my favorite character is Chuck. Kristen Bell's voice-overs bug, however.
