I'm back!
I'm back from NZ and my Christmas vacation. It's been a great month. I did absolutely nothing except enjoy myself and eat. Completely happy and relaxed now. I'm ecstatic to see that you are back (and hopefully eager to begin writing again)! Shamefully, I confess in my stubborn reluctance to connect with people online, I never left you a comment before. However, I have read all of your stories (or as many as I could find), FPS and RPS, and loved all of them. Honestly, I had never been disappointed at any of your updates. Your writing is spectacular; you've perfected your characters (to my liking ;) ) and plotted each story with unfettered imagination, heartrending angst, and simply beautiful descriptions. All in all, very evocative writing.
I hope you acknowledge that there are MANY of us who are hesitant to post public reviews to show our appreciation. Don't heed the few who have nothing to do but attack with ridiculously immature comments (they were most likely from the same person anyway).
FF.net does seem to discriminate against slash. And the service a paid-account member receives is absurd. Frankly, I don't think it's a great place to post slash and stories with mature content because of the many younger readers. Nonetheless, there are various friendly archives and mailing groups that I bet would love to welcome your stories. Might I even suggest a couple?
You are likely to have heard of these, if not have already joined them. I see many of your fics are A/L or V/O, so I'd like to suggest you VOLA_Slash (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VOLA_Slash/). It's a new and friendly group, looking very promising. It's a great place for a good read; if you do enjoy reading, you might want to check out fics by Connie Bailey. I think VOLA_Slash is a fitting place to post your fics. But of course, don't feel forced to!
The second group I like is CharactersInBloom (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CharactersInBloom/). It's quite popular and Orlando(and whatever character he has played)-based. Another good place for a good read.
Again, you might already be a member of these groups. If so, I apologize ahead of time for my ignorance.

I'm glad you enjoy the stories. Thanks for the suggestions of lists as well. I will check out VOLA, since I haven't been there yet and it sounds interesting.
I like CharactersInBloom too. I'm not really a member since I have too much email, but I've been on their website, which is nice. I've written for one of their challenges, and will be writing for the Action Elf one coming up to commemorate the release of ROTK =)
I totally agree with ff.net isn't the best place for my stories. It's just where I read my first story; and when I first started writing, I just posted there.
