stream-of-consciousness incoherence
Can't... can't we just start over? Can't we just get rid of all the stupid bits of society? Except no, we can't, because then we're taking it into our own hands to decide who deserves to live and who doesn't, and even though maybe those are categories we think we ought to be able to apply, it's just not true, because even though some people, some groups, might be absolutely fucking infuriating, they haven't really done anything fundamentally wrong most of the time. And even though we think that hey, we're so much better than them, they also think that about us, and although they might be wrong, we still think the same thing as they do. We're all just human, and while humanity is capable of being the most aggravating and absurd thing on the planet, it's also capable of immense goodness (rarely seen though that might be), and even Hitler petted deer. So we can't just get rid of the bits we don't like, because not doing that is what makes us different from them, it's what gives us the right to think we're better - and even though I didn't word that right, it makes sense in my head, because if we're no better than them really then we ought not insist we are.
