I think I want to go to ConFusion in January (near Detroit). Train tickets there and back total $100. Registration is $35 if I do it before January. If I volunteer, which I think I will do, cash-strapped student that I am, I won't have to pay for a room, but if I do have to pay for a room, that's nearly $200 total for both nights.
ConFusion is a SF/F convention, with awesome guests this year.
The question IS: Does anyone want to go with me? The only person who I know is going who I have actually met before is, in fact, one of the guests of honor, so that doesn't count. :P
