(no subject)
Things have been happening in my life besides romantic entanglement, I swear.
I had forgotten how much renting out my soul to theatre hurts my social life. I had also not realized how much my social life depends on my cell phone - but I should be getting a new one tomorrow, so huzzah!
So far my only difficult class is Math. It's probably good for me... I need to go talk to the prof tomorrow, though, about the fact that I barely understood half of last week's homework. Also that I forgot to turn in one of the problems I did do. :/
I like learning Russian. I kinda want to go to conversation hour and just sit listening. Also I should find Russian pop music I like (e.g., Vitas).
In History we're learning about writing history and pretty soon we'll start actually learning about pirates! :D
Computer Science continues to be easy, although I am actually learning stuff. And there are now smart people in my workshop!
It's a good thing I've already learned that it takes time to integrate socially with a group based around a physical activity, although apparently my juggling is improving every time I go, and the senior people in juggling are a lot nicer than the senior people in Ring were when I joined. (We don't speak of them any more...)
I may or may not be getting involved in a Doctor Who roleplaying game. This will be neat if it works out.
My social sphere is expanding slowly but surely. I think I will be getting involved with UR Medieval, and apparently one of the most-senior people from In Between The Lines knows my name. o.o I got kidnapped to a Dining Committee meeting because of free food XD not sure if I'll keep going, but it was interesting. I was also the only freshman there.
Life is pretty cool, basically.
