There is, or was, an ambulance parked outside our neigbours' house, flashers on and engine running.
Vaguely worrying, that.
I had a picnic in a graveyard with Breezy and Andleeb and David and Jennifer and Chelsea. In some ways, it ended up being the most 'religious' thing I've done since before I stopped going to church.
David and Breezy were terrified most of the time we were there (it was dark, you see). We ate on the concrete road - I think the official excuse was that the grass was wet. We sat in a circle and were quiet. Somebody suggested leaving an offering, but we decided it could be bad if the caretakers found food there. In the end, after we cleaned up, we passed around a bottle of water I'd happened to have on me: everyone took a sip. I took a sip first and last, completing the circle. Then I poured out the rest of the water in a(n imperfect but well-intentioned) circle around our circle, and we left.
I made David buy mochi ice cream, which Breezy now loves. ^^ We four went back to Andleeb's apartment, where I proceeded to use David as a pillow. *sleepy*
Today in and of itself was not particularly remarkable. I dragged my lazy bum out of bed just in time to get to school before class started. I wrote rather more than I think the teacher was expecting of a five-paragraph essay to finish the take-home history test (but it was five paragraphs, so there). I didn't get much actual work done on my research thingy for the same class, but it's okay. I can finish it next class or something. It will get done.
During lunch I withdrew pretty much completely into my book (which, in my defense, is both excellent and for my history class - I have to write 300 words on it). Being asocial kind of sucks and I should not do it. >.>
In Short Story we had to tell the class something they couldn't possibly have known, and do it through a story. Mine was terrible, for me, but it was basically "I took 'tae kwon do' at Keith Hafner's Karate in middle school and met Gary Babaev." Some of them were pretty brilliant, though.
Between block 5 and rehearsal, I discovered that math has the ability to reduce my brain to no-worky-status. Specifically, conics. They are evil.
There were baby freshmans in the Craft Theatre getting their summer homeworks! aww :3 So we rehearsed in Anne-Marie's room.
I'm... not sure anything more of interest happened today.
EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT THERE ARE TWO THINGS RELATED TO DISSER
The "open relationship" thing is no longer entirely theoretical and we are re-dubbing it "polyamory"...
