Civics Final Project journal entry 3
On Wednesday I talked to Vicky Henry about student governance at Community. We talked about what had been in the past and what is being now.
One thing became absolutely clear to me: forums have to be involved at a fundamental level.
One system Vicky described involved problems coming out of Forum, going into committees, and then going back to Forum with ideas for solution and possible implementation.
So. Forums have to be involved and there should be other layers of decision-making involving students.
Idea: Discuss problems in Forum; send problems with delegates to Forum Council. omg breakthrough!
