She writes again!
I have been struck by inspiration!
After months and months of being able to write nothing more than synopsis for story ideas, I've finally been able to sit down and write stuff.
Matter of fact, I haven't had much choice in the matter. When I need to write, like really, really *need* to, I feel like I'm having an anxiety attack until I get to a computer and start typing. Sign of insanity? You be the judge.
Yesterday I started working on an idea I've been playing around with since last summer. Lots of fun, some good fantasy elements.
Then today, while watching an underwhelming sci-fi movie from the 70s, I was struck with perhaps the most disturbing idea I've ever had as a human being, and I started to write it. I didn't even have a plot, I still don't, but 15 pages later I'm still finding that there's a next paragraph every time I finish one.
However, my mind slightly disturbs me.
