Oh. Oh, John! *sniffs*

You have this way of just putting my heart in my throat and then melting it.

This was achingly good.

Oh, awesome. Melty ♥ back at you. (There should really be an escape code for that.)

There really should be! *nods*

I just wanted to add (now that I'm a little less emotional and can give coherent feedback) that I love how you took us through the stages of John's reactions from 'this isn't so bad' to 'get me the fuck out of here, now!' and how all the way through it, Rodney was with him in his thoughts. I loved the things he drew on the wall (including sinister Johnny Cash!) and his awkward attempts at sharing his *gasp* emotions! And how Rodney finally just took care of him, exactly how he needed to be taken care of. All of that - was just done so perfectly in John's voice.

So, yeah. ♥

omg your icon is so perfect, it's like a carving of John.

Rodney was there the *whole time* the little sneak. :)))) Notice the very first thing John carves is a ZPM.

Thanks, sweetheart. I'm all grinning.

I imagine (on the odd occasions when I see something prison related) that prison is boring as hell, punctuated by moments of 'oh, shit this is bad'. Admittedly, prison in the Stargate 'verse tends to be a bit more exciting but it's nice to see the opposite. The mindnumbing tedium of nothing to do and all day to do it.

!!! Exactly. A nice change for John, I'm sure, from the constant torture-for-information. If only he'd had a fucking deck of cards.

It's not like he's trying to be an asshole.

That is John Sheppard in a nutshell.

Gorgeous story.
All that time alone and coming up with "I missed you" really does say a lot. You can really hear John in this.
Loved it!

\o/ Thank you so. That was the core right there. I just had to write a whole story around it. ~:

This is wonderful, thank you. I love how much an inarticulate man can jam into two or three words, and John is inarticulacy personified. Really nice.

OH, I am not kind. You wrote that most awesome Orig. Series Apollo-as-RentBoy AU. A tremendous work. I think it kept me engrossed for weeks, long after I finished it, it so captured me.
