Just a reminder: the AO3 is going down NOW for our RAM upgrade. I DO NOT WANT TO BE AWAKE THIS EARLY. but I am. so there.

ETA: Ha. We were back up and in 1hr 45min. bwee! \o/ We'll be adjusting the number of workers threads (unicorns. seriously, they're called unicorns) over the next couple of days, so hopefully you will see an improvement in performance. Also, in two weeks or so we'll be upgrading the db to Percona 5.5 with faster threading.
