Hello again
I didn't realize it had been so long since I made a post.
The application for fall teaching positions is well under way. I have 50+ pending applications for teaching positions--most of them in Eastern Mass. I had an interview earlier this week with a school district in Maine. 90 minutes from my apartment, but if I got the job, I would move in a heartbeat.
In the meantime, still working at the ladies gym a couple days a week. It is a low-stress low-pay position, but it will do for the rest of the summer. I will be sad in leave it at the end of August. I've grown very close to some of the ladies there :(
Sophie Sue, my most beloved cat, is getting big! Almost a year old, and 8.5 lbs. Took her to the vet last Friday after she sneezed copious amounts of bloody snot (DELICIOUS!) all over the couch. The vet we like said it was probably allergies. The crazy vet who I hate says she has some kind of life-threatening illness caused no doubt by a combination of gonorrhea, chlamydia and kitty aids >.< I am inclined to believe nice vet, only because he has been right in the past. Meanwhile, crazy doctor once diagnosed the cat with a collapsing nasal passage and possible cancerous growths in the nose and throat (both which were wrong). Waiting to get a call about the labs they are running on her.
