Hahaha, I can hear Evie flailing all the way from Malaysia right now :)
....didn't think it was that great of an episode. And also that was seriously beyond the limit of confusing. But let's start with the most important thing first :)
-Sawyer and Juliet. Saving each other from Others, romantic submarine scene, 'You'll do great I know you will', picking flowers, hug, kiss, sex. Oh yay. I'm really not sure if I like this ship anymore *ducks* :) Dunno, I just realized I really don't like Juliet's character. Her stupid soft voice when she said 'James' all throughout this episode just annoyed the crap out of me. But I will shut up before I get killed by those people who love her :)
-Sawyer was quite cool on the other hand. It's so cute how he's caring so much about people these days, I mean first Locke in the well, then Amy, then Juliet... so different from first season jerk Sawyer. Haha and I loved it when he called Richard 'your buddy with the eyeliner' or something. The whole conversation with Richard in general was quite awesome. I do not like his look when he has washed and combed hair though :)
-yeah, major dissappointment with that bag woman. Amy, wth, we don't even know her. Meh.
-was it just me or was this episode SO full of cliches? 'My headaches stopped!' 'My nose doesn't bleed anymore!' 'I think the flashes stopped!' And the classic of pregnant Lady randomly starting to scream going 'The baby's coming!'. And that crap about this Amy person surviving the fence because she had some shit in her ear was horrible. Where did she suddenly get that from? When did she put it in? How can you survive a damn sonic fence by having some fluff in your ear?'
-Dude wtf! That random huge statue they saw at the beginning was part of the four-toed statue mystery right? I was actually smiling to myself when I saw that, thinking that we'll FINALLY learn something about that, and then... flash happens and we never hear about it again. Again.
-I did not get the whole Paul story. Ok so Amy is one of the Dharma people. The two men are Richard's people. But one of them is married to Amy. They randomly abduct her and put a bag over her head in the jungle. They get shot, Amy wants to bring back Paul's body. Richard also wants Paul's body. It is apparently a huge sacrifice for Amy to give up the dead body of her husband. She marries Horace, who wears her socks and blows up trees in his free time. She gets into a fight with him over a necklace that belonged to Paul. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.
-there was also wayyy too much 'Three years earlier' and 'three years later'
-Am I already so frenchified or is it normal that them pronouncing 'fleur' like 'floor' pissed me off?
-Jin speaking english ftw! He's becoming one of my favourite characters nowadays. 'Now what?'
-Was it just me or was Daniel's crying at the beginning extremely awkward? Maybe that's just coz I'm comparing it to Terry O'Quinn's acting-crying last episode that was SO amazing, but I just thought that was sorta bad. It fitted Daniel's character though. Lmao btw at Sawyer's line of 'his brain is already fried'
-the end, even though it was again hella clicheed with the coast and the wind and the bus, was pretty cool. Skate. Skate. Skate.
-Haha, I realized why I didn't like this episode that much. Sayid wasn't in it.
-But never mind that, major bet question people!! Who's the baby?
