Whoah. 12 weeks since my last update, is that crazy or what. Soooo much stuff has happened, and I wanna talk about all of it, but now I guess the time has passed and I need to worry more about current things, like me living all alone in a different country and starting uni the day after tomorrow and stuff :P
Yeah. Well the first thing I need to mention is I'm writing all of this now on my BRAND NEW MACBOOK PRO. It's only about the sexiest thing ever, even though I still need to figure so much stuff out and get confused with the icons and buttons all the time. But it's so shinyyy, and quiet, and silver, and it makes a nice sound when I type........<3. So yeah, good to have that out of the way.
Other than that, I moved in here into my dorm/hall of residence the day after yesterday and I'm officially starting uni on Wednesday. So far the people I've met are really nice, even though they smoke a LOT. And do all English people have so many piercings? Seriously the amount of people with random metal bits stuck through their lips, noses and ears (all of those at the same time mostly) is impressive. I've also met quite a couple of German-speaking people, which is awesome, and there's actually one girl who graduated from La Chat this year too, so that was certainly good to meet someone you at least know a bit. So far I've met four of my flat mates, there's this one gay guy who's really really nice, another guy who's also really nice, a girl from Belgium who's ALSO really nice, and another girl who I haven't really talked to yet. But, as you may have gathered through my very imaginative use of adjectives right there, the people here are just SO NICE.
Hmmnm what else. The uni looks great, I'm actually really excited to start even though I'm dreading that first day where we have to present our stupid costumes. But after that's over, it's gonna be AWESOME. The town itself looks nice too, I obviously haven't been around much but in general it seems like a nice place to live. I'll get back to you on this once I know it better.
Well yeah, can't think of much else to say right now, just wanted to give a very very basic account of my life as of now and just get my poor neglected lj kickstarted again. Now I need to somehow manage to install my MS Office Package, so wish me luck on that. And I'll get a skype account soon, if anyone's interested :D
