Photo Post: Precious Blue
My second Moi-même-Moitié coord.
The Mana-Blue bug bit me when I wore flokati-san's Chandelier Print, but I wanted to do something a bit different to a typically obvious Moitié coord. I had this blue silk blouse that I bought off Ebay last year (some vintage thing, cost me less than €3 including shipping from the UK!) I always thought it would come in useful one day!
The Precious (otherwise known as the Rose Ribbon JSK ...or something like that) was my Christmas/Birthday present to myself. I sweat blood getting my hands on that thing, I swear (now isn't that an attractive image!) dixanadu_de_chi told me it was the last one in the store when she went to look for me! aaahhhh! I was so scared it'd be gone by the time I got money transferred for her to buy it for me! And then I had to wait over a month to get it shipped here (long story). Then customs charged me. Grrr! But finally, just before Christmas, we were united, as was meant to be! XD
The socks were a birthday present from rmsmaelstrom. Thank you honey! <3
With all these clothes together, I still needed a headdress. I intend to start learning to make my own headdresses soon, but rather than be too ambitious I decided to start with pimping up a mini-hat. I do like top hats ^^. I had a design in mind, and managed to find this little hat in Claire's for €5 in a sale, so I ripped everything off it and started again with new materials. It cost me about €13 to make in all, and I'm very pleased with it!
rmsmaelstrom took me on a date to Düsseldorf while I wore this outfit. We only managed to snap a couple of good photos as it was very cold, and we were both a little preoccupied with the need for a hot drink. We later found a nice café and had warm apple strudel. Mmmm!!
So, three different blue items, perfectly matched if I do say so myself!!
rmsmaelstrom also edited a couple in a vintage sepia style. Kinda strays away from the idea of "Precious Blue" but we liked it a lot ^^
