Photo post: Vestige
Last weekend, my dear flokati-san came to visit us again, and we got to make a new photoshoot.
Flokati had the idea of making a Lolita shoot based on her interpretation of the Moi Dix Mois song "Vestige". She saw it as being about a girl who had died, and her man was mourning her loss. I offered to play the male role for her (first time we have swapped!) and we elaborated the idea that perhaps my character was a vampire who had caused the girl's death.
We built a gorgeous set in my bedroom with the bedcovers she had brought and lots of fabric roses, and a real lily. We also went outside to take some more narrative photos while there was a break in the rainclouds.
dixanadu_de_chi came over too to be employed as set dresser, undertaker, behind-the-scenes photographer-san, and general amusement along with hizsi, who was going to be cosplaying K with Flokati's Mana for a Moi Dix Mois cosplay shoot the next day.
Near a window where the lights come in, a shadow is completely
strange. Floating, all day dreams; a sweet and memorable smell
Why are the blossoms of lilies that dried out?
Destiny of the moment.
The flowers that blossom in my dreams are like a reflection of you
Fall asleep amidst the pure buds and their honey
once again so tenderly
You had felt that the day of the unavoidable destiny had drawn closer
The words of my prayers vanish among the skies
and they don't understand; your smile so innocent
The flowers that blossom in my dreams are like your face
which slumbers amidst the purest nectar of buds tenderly
surrounded by white flowers in their fullest blossom,
your face moves slowly to the white lilies
that shine near the window
