Cosplay: Phantomhive vs Trancy
This weekend, chuchu-mana and yuki_magique came to stay with us! <3 After meeting at AnimagiC last month, and talking then about how either duo could make the 5 hour drive to visit one another, it happened sooner than we thought, as they were coming to Cologne for Gamescon!
They spent Saturday at Gamescon, I would not go as I hate computer games, and poor rmsmaelstrom had to work. But for the Sunday we had planned an epic Black Butler photoshoot! We did Ciel and Sebastian again, and they did Claude and Alois. Alois did not have a full costume as the whole meeting had been sorted very quickly in the space of a week, so I loaned my vintage maroon velvet coat and it looked just perfect!
When we woke up early on Sunday morning, the weather was horrible, pouring rain, and thunderstorms were forecast for the afternoon. Seeing as I had great plans to build a specific set out in the forest nearby, it did not bode well! Being very mature about it, I sulked, while everyone tried to convince me it would all be fine.
dixanadu-de-chi was meeting us that morning, as I had asked her to help out with the shoot and be Spare Photographer-san for group photos. When she arrived, she brought the sunshine with her! The rain vanished, the skies cleared, no thunder came, and it was a glorious afternoon!
