Late 1980s boy band New Kids on the Block are preparing to announce that they will be reuniting, 14 years after their breakup in 1994. The pop quintet were very successful back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, selling more than 70 million records during their decade-long career, NME.com reports.
Though the members have since gone on to their own individual projects, some continuing with music, others dabbling in acting and still others in fields completely separate from the entertainment world, a reunion of this sort had been anticipated for some time now. Though no official statement has been made, People Magazine reports that the announcement is imminent and even the group's once-dormant website,
http://www.nkotb.com, is showing signs of life.
