On perfecting my American accent
So last night, while I was working at the restaurant, a white customer (and I say white because I'm not sure if she's Kiwi or European or a kiwi from the South Island since she seemed different) asked if I was American.
I said no, but is it my accent? And she said 'yes!! Why do you have an American accent? Did you live in America?'
I lol'd and told her I've never been to America. But I did just go through five seasons of Criminal Minds in the past two weeks, so maybe I should take this as a hint to slow down the streaming.
Perfect my American Accent? Check.
