Seasonal Changes
Today is nice.
Election day, so we have off from school, plus I just got to sit down and do whatever I wanted. A luxury that doesn't often present itself. Anyways, I spent just about the entire day on the computer looking up images for icons and I updated my LJ layout.

I wrote a pretty crappy poem today but here it is all the same (free verse):
Autumn is Upon Us
Autumn is upon us.
As the days grow colder;
The sun inches closer.
As the leaves start to die;
The epitome of beauty.
As the brisk wind flows;
The wind chimes tinkle.
As chapped lips prevail;
The kiss of Mother Nature.
As the earth turns brown;
The seasonal crops ripen.
As birds fly, a southerly flow;
The bears await their long slumber.
As the scorching heat turns to bitter cold;
The heating oil burns, a bleak cloud of black.
As death follows life in an endless cycle;
The foliage withers, leaving naked trees.
Autumn is upon us, dear friend;
Autumn is upon us.
It's the same one I'm using in my sidebar, I call i the upside down light bulb.

Anywho, expect an update with bunches of icons soon, especially Twilight quotes.
For those of you that don't already know, I spent an entire day re-reading Twilight and writing down ever single quote that I found the least bit interesting.
Oh and did I mention I absolutely fell is LOVE with the Band "The Spill Canvas"
