hello, hello. so much has been going on! I cannot begin to tell you.
all of these were taken during a recent trip back to the midwest to attend the funeral of someone very near to my heart. having never had anyone close to me pass away before, it was quite an experience... and a wonderful one at that. as I wandered the farmlands and country roads lined with cornflower lillies, seeing everything bursting with movement and colors and smells and sunshine, more than ever I felt alive and became aware (again) that life abounds in all ways, always.
thinking about it right now, a zen poem comes to mind, something of a conundrum:
everything is
a lie in this world
because even
death
isn't so
