I love the dialogue in the beach overall, you're right, it just really flows well. Making characters flow is hard enough, but you manage to pull it off with...a lot of characters and that--that is just mind boggling. I can barely handle two and you nailed it right on the spot!

Bravo!

On the Butch being Bricks 'Go-to-guy' it really does make sense. Like how do I explain it. The way Boomer and Butch follow Brick is different. Boomer does it so y'know things don't get out of hand, so Brick doesn't lose his cool...it's just simpler that way. But if somethings gets bad and Boomer felt like he was doing something wrong (his version of wrong) he would hesitate.

But Butch who normally defies him and does what he wants when the situation isn't that dire, he does a flip when Brick really needs him. Because Butch knows Brick is the man with the plan and knows what he's doing and he doesn't really see anything wrong with what he's doing because--Hey, he hasn't been wrong, yet.

You said Butch and Boomers sense of right and wrong are warped, but I think they're warped in different ways. Hope that made sense XD

And omg more butch development later YESSSSSSSSS NOW I'M SO ANXIOUS AHH

And ugh YES sister moments. I adore sibling relationships like these. Like yes siblings argue but they also would willingly risk their lives for each other and in some ways they're really all they have when it comes to understanding certain things. They have this bond and it's beautiful and deep and stronger than anything else, and I hope to see more sibling moments in the upcoming chapters!

these were so great ;v;
