I'd like an essay on something having to do with how Harry Potter borrows from mythology. You can focus on anything. Just no pro-R/Hr or H/G stuff please.

I'd like to read an essay about stolen muggle technology in the Wizarding World.

I'd like to read an essay about about how the Witchcraze is presented and viewed by wizards, what effect it has on wizards' views of Muggles and ideally also whether the essay-writer considers JKR's presentation of the Witchcraze within the books to be reasonable or not in relation to what we actually know of its history.

*embarrassed cough*
I'm going to renounce my claim on this one. I went and researched it but I can't find anything beyond the obvious so I'm going to claim something else instead. I thought I knew where I was going to go with this but then ... I didn't. Sorry!

A marxist critique of HP (or an aspect of HP cause yeah, the whole thing could be a book)
