I Wish
'Today' was quite hectic- went to a VIP movie with Zander, there was supposed waiters that would come to your seat when you pressed a button and let you order sushi, but after they got beers for Zander and Sean, I couldn't seem to get them to get back in there no matter how hard I hit that damn thing. Ah, well. Zander informed me that the sushi, which cost about 5 dollars for two 2-piece orders, was worth as much as it cost. The movie, by the way, was The Dark Knight, or as it's known in Spanish speaking countries, 'El Caballero De La Noche', which was just as amazing the second time around. I can't wait to see that shit in Blu-Ray.
After that, we got some cheap liquor from the nearby convenience store, which is called Oxxo, in case you were wondering. We got boozed up in the room with some folks Zander knew from his education abroad program, one of which was coincidentally enough also a half-Iranian. After hitting the upstairs bar, we headed out to Equis O, the local exclusive club that Zander got us in to- And this was fun, folks. I danced with cute girls, and I actually heard three songs I recognized- "Young Folks", by Peter Bjorn & John, an amazing techno remix of "Another Brick In The Wall, pt. 2" and the Skazi remix of "I Wish", which is a perfect club song. My brother and Zander easily got more action than me, which gave me some things to think about as far as what makes a guy in a club attractive to a girl. Given how often I go to a club (FUCKING NEVER) who can say how often I'll actually make use of what I thought up, but thinking, I've found, is often the first step to making a change.
After a night at de club, we headed back to the hotel for an hour before embarking on our journey back to the states which was HELL INCARNATE. I got about 4 hours of sleep in the last 36 hours, and I'm so fucking glad to be back on solid ground.
