To quote my favorite reaction subject line from Ain't It Cool News, re: the end of season three of THIS FUCKING SHOW: HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK
Oh, dear sweet lord I'm so happy this show is back... It's like a goddamn IV of Red Bull and crack. I have missed the characters, twists, and, let's not kid ourselves, not having any idea what the hell is going on but loving ever blessed minute of it. It's going to be a long, bumpy 16 weeks through this, and I'm surely sorry to see it go, but it's like the world's best fuck buddy that takes 7 months off and doesn't call. I think I could use a cigarette right now, speaking of which.
Also, watched 'Sin Nombre' while killing time during my self-imposed media blackout between 6 and 11 (trying to avoid spoilers, you understand. Sure as hell wasn't letting anything be ruined after an 8-month wait). Dark, harsh tale of a boy running from the gang he was in to the north, eventually meeting with a girl trying to get to family in New Jersey. It's bleak, but it's the world we live in, folks. Facing up to it's the first step to cleaning it up.
Busy as hell with class and such, but these nights at home, they do me much good.
