Marginally Gainfully Employed
So, yeah, I got that internship at the Cartoon Art Museum... I'm somewhat proud of myself for having landed it, but part of me knows they were pretty desperate for help. The real test is going to be if I'm able to keep the position for an extended period of time. And who knows, one day, I may have the privilege of being able to work for these fine people and get paid for it.
In other news, went and saw two movies with cacophonyblood today... First was Observe and Report, the latest Seth Rogen vehicle. It was crazy funny at times, but just straight up crazy at others, really the best way I know to describe the whole thing. Rogen's got a good eye for flicks by and large, but I must be sure to look out for any of his future flicks that may not be elevated solely by his presence.
Also went and checked out the Dragonball movie, mainly for the lulz, but it wasn't horrible. It could have been a lot better, but I feel like they got a lot of character details right, even if the overall product wasn't great. I absolutely loved James Marsters as Piccolo though, even if the makeup could've been better. It's possible I've got a soft spot for the gentleman. >.>
Just started Repo. Livid with anticipation for the awesome.
