Merci! Ca fait un bout de temps que dessiner ça me trotte dans la tête.
L'idée de 'Voldy à la Munch' trainait dans un de mes carnets de croquis et quand je suis tombhée dessus je me suis dit: Bingo!

(Ce n'est pas la première fois que je l'entends, mais je n'ai jamais osé demander: que veut dire 'Kudos'?)

"Kudos" est un mot grecque qui veut dire "c'est bien fait".

Or better, in English, since my French is rusty and I don't know how to type accent marks: "Kudos", "kudos to you", and "I give you kudos" all mean "I think you have done well"; "she received kudos for her work" means "her work was praised".

"Kudos" is both singular and plural.

Hee, thanks - I feel like I became smarter all of a sudden.

I can understand the accent marks typing problem - I never understood how people did it on international keyboards- but your one french sentence is perfect! ^^ Kudos?

Je te félicite encore une fois!

Et voilà ce que le dictionnaire dit à propos de "kudos":

kudos |ˈk(y)oōˌdōs; -ˌdōz; -ˌdäs| noun praise and honor received for an achievement.

ORIGIN late 18th cent.: Greek.USAGE Kudos comes from Greek and means ‘glory.’ Despite appearances, it is not a plural form. This means that there is no singular form kudo and that use as a plural, as in the following sentence, is incorrect:: he received many kudos for his work (correct use is | he received much kudos for his work).

For some reason I thought it came from a bastardisation of Japanese... Oh well, now I know better!

Thanks again!
