Seattle convention

The 88th annual PTK convention has been an unbelievable experience. My friend David was elected to International Office, which made it even more spectacular. Dr. Madeline Albright and Cokie Roberts were amazing speaker and gave me much to think about. This trip has truly reminded me how lucky I am to have the support of my friends and family, including my online and PTK family. It has also served to as a reminder to me that those on whom blessings are placed, much is expected. We each have such potential for good and to make this world a better place, if only we could each get beyond the superficialities and see that each individual is important for who they are and what they add to our world. I'm sad to be leaving Seattle, but will be glad to get home. Unfortunately the only flight takes me to Dallas and then home to Columbus. I'm not looking forward to twelve hours stuck on a plane.

I will post a picture later of me and what I wore to the awards banquet. My friend Sarah did my hair and I must say I actually felt like a princess. Thanks Sarah. Next years convention is going to be held in Nashville, Tenn. and I can hardly wait (boy do I need to start saving now).
