Today could not have been more girly

Today was the bridal show downtown with Kari and Lindsay. It was pretty fun. Of course, tickets were cheaper if you were a bride-to-be, and since Kari was paying for all of us, she told them that all of us were brides. So Lindsay and I walked around with Bride stickers, enjoying free samples and magazines and brochures and talking to vendors who congratulated us on our engagements. Ha. And then there was a cool fashion show. We saw Jon Matthews there because Mindy was one of the models. He must have been so bored, because he was by himself the whole time, just collecting food samples from the different vendors. Haha. We talked to him for a minute, which was weird because we pretty much never talk. But whatever. It was cool. And then Lindsay and I wanted to jump all the hot guy models, and we successfully stalked one of them, which was great.

After the bridal show, we ate lunch at the Rivercenter food court, then bought matching backpacks for school next year (pink). Well, Kari bought mine, which was INCREDIBLY generous and I told her not to about a thousand times, but if you know Kari you know that it doesn't really do any good. So I'm practically indebted to her for the rest of my life. After that we went to North Star Mall for a little while, but everything was closing, so we ended up at Barnes and Nobles. I bought a pretty pink planner for next year. :)

Now I am here. I told Alyssa I'd help her out with VBS at her church in Natalia this week, so my mornings will be busy. But I think it will be exciting and fun.

Talking to Kirk everyday has spoiled me, and now when days go by and I don't talk to him, it feels weird. Ha.
