yeah. that one's not as easy to pick up as say, knitting. which, by the way, rules. i kinda wish i were knitting right now. i should knit a sweater that says "i'd rather be knitting" or something like that. you know, something snappy, but not so much that it'll make me look unapproachable. i dont' look unapproachable, do it? omg, you think i do, don't you??? well, what is it??? cripes, people, what is it with me?????????

Lindsey,

Seriously, you should hang out with me. I'm almost as cool as Drew, but I'm much better at the drum set than he is.

I also know music theory. And I hear that girls like men who know their music theory...

I wanted to clarify what I meant in response to your response to my...err, nevermind. "You know what they say about Texans, right? They say that everything's bigger in Texas, so it must mean that Texans are bigger than everyone else."

I'm going to ignore the glaring double standard you Texans have set. If you'll look at statistics of populations in the USA and notice the average weight of each inhabitant of a state, it's plain to see that the phrase should really say "Everything's bigger in Wisconsin." But we'll ignore that, because it defeats the purpose of everything I want to say right now.

You see, I happen to be a huge fan of Lyle Lovett, and in his song "That's Right" he weighs the advantages and disadvantages of not being from Texas. It turns out that if you're not from Texas, you suck.

You say you’re not ( ... )

Actually the phrase "everything is beigger in Texas" is very applicable. Seeing as how texas contains five of the fattest cities in the USA. Damn straight that shiz is bigger.
Shiz.
shiz.

Really? That's interesting. I'm from the midwest, and everyone gives Wisconsin crap for being so fat. I guess it's all relative to where you live! Nonetheless, intriguing.

Yeah, wisconsin makes things which in turn create fatness. I guess most wisconers don't get high off of their own suplly if you know what I mean.

Just keep telling yourself that...
Don't fret though, your city isn't one of them. So you are safe.

texas is pretty awesome. there's some kinda saying or something for non-natives that says "i wasn't born in texas, but i got here as soon as i could". texas is awesome, but some people get reeeeeeeaaaaaally into being from texas. my brother jeff is one of those people. it's kind of weird sometimes. my family actually made sure i had a texas flag with me when i went to college. so yeahhhhh my point would be that texas rules, but that still doesn't mean that we should secede (although if we did we'd have something like the 5th national gnp and of course, the ability to divide ourselves into 5 texan states). i'm sorry for that.

that said, i'm still reallyreally glad to be back.

My dad moved to Frisco (north of Dallas) a few years back from San Diego. I've been out to see him a few times (like I'm out here right now), and I gotta say that Texas does, in fact, rule. I just about died when I saw a sign that said, "Homes starting in the $160s," as the median home in San Diego is $439,000. So prices are a plus. Also, there's so much land! I've never seen a mall as large as the Stonebriar mall near my dad. Freaking gargantuan. Well, maybe I have? Still. Women are as good-looking here as in San Diego, too. More implants, though, which I am not a fan of.

California still owns on having the highest GDP, though. ;) Also, we have more and better beaches and waaaaay better weather. Win some, lose some, I guess.

these snappily knitted clothes would only distract, my dear. maybe that's the problem, you should start talking to those boys out there sans clothing so they'll be less .... no. no, i don't think that would work as planned at all. More distractions and less distractions at the same time .... You know, when I first saw the subject, I thought you were saying I was annoying, and maybe you were, it wouldn't be the first time, but hey, if annoying is cool and counts as a hobby, then count me in.

I tell you what, you knit and I'll devote myself to the development of a six-pack. That and drinking this six-pack. Isn't that how one develops a six-pack?
