Signing Up for JWEB
JWEB recently released apps for their content on both the iOS App Store and the Android Market. You can download these apps for free and enjoy some content, you can't unleash the cool stuff without registering and giving some money to good ol' Uncle Johnny (315¥/month or $4.14/month). The entire app and website are in Japanese though, and so is the registration process. Here's a little guide on getting signed up!
Step 1: Go to http://johnnys-web.com from your iPhone or Android. This site will not open on your computer, you must be on your mobile device. When you get to the site, click this button:
Step 2: Then click this button to start the registration:
Step 3: Scroll down the page and enter your email address & then press the button below:
Step 4: Confirm your email address & press the button:
Step 5: You should get this screen directing you to check your email and click the URL within the email:
Step 6: Go to your email and press the link provided:
Step 7: Now you should see this page asking for your favorite artist and a password. Select the button to choose your favorite artist:
Step 8: You should get a scroll bar of artists to choose from:
Step 9: Scroll down the page and then input a password, and then once more to verify. It needs to be at least 8 characters long. Skip the field asking for an ID and press the bottom button:
Step 10: Next will be the page asking for payment information. Unless you're in Japan, you're stuck with the credit card option, which is the last option. Click!
Step 11: Press this guy (the link above is just more information & terms and conditions for using the credit card option):
Step 12: Grab your credit card and input this information and then click the button at the bottom!:
Step 13: At this point, I don't have any more screenshots since I've already registered and I didn't want to put my credit card info in again XD However, there should only be 1 page left. It'll be asking some general questions. First one will be asking your age range. Second one is your gender (女性 is female, 男性 is male). Then for the rest of the questions, select the options that say either 「していない」「初めて」「その他」. Most of the questions are just asking about how you found out about JWEB, if this is your first time signing up, etc.
Step 14: That's it! (I think...let me know if there was another page, lol) Now you can open up your Johnny's Web App and login using your email address and the password you created.
