A new comic book and pop culture store, Third Eye Comics, just came to town and had their grand opening today. I know the manager from the comic store we used to game in, so I stopped by. You know how you're not supposed to go shopping when you're hungry because you buy too much food? Well apparently I can't go shopping when it's close to my bedtime - I bought a new plush throw, a new pair of slippers, and a Forever Lazy. So sleepy... *yawn*

12-hour day yesterday, but totally worth it. It's the end of the fiscal year this week, and I'm all SPEND SPEND SPEND! OMFG I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GET SATELLITE TV AGAIN EVER.

After a quiet but productive day at work, this is the only night I get to see Q for a week (he was working Sunday through Wednesday, then he has a rehearsal dinner and I have gaming tomorrow night, he has his doll club and a wedding on Saturday, then he's working Sunday and Monday night, and we leave Tuesday). Fabulous weekend home for Mom's 70th. She was quite surprised at some of the folks that showed up, so it was all worth it. Q and I bought her a TiVo, and I think she's already hooked.
